I had a great experience with Birthways! My doula was kind, experienced, well informed and very easy to be around as I/we adjusted to being a family. My doula was great, and any questions she could not answer were answered by the staff.

Survey of Birthways’ Postpartum Clients
On a survey sent to our clients after their care was completed, we asked a variety of questions both about the performance of our staff and how they felt the postpartum doula model of care impacted their experience. From 2000-2010 we collected surveys that told us the following:
When asked if the postpartum doula had a positive impact on their outcomes, clients responded with the following:
- 85% responded that the doula had a positive impact on breastfeeding success.
* this included some respondents who did not intend to breastfeed
- 97% responded that the doula had a positive impact on their parenting confidence.
- 97% responded that the doula had a positive impact on their emotional wellbeing.
